Story Time: The Princess and the Pony

I haven't done a Story Time post in a while, but this book arrived on our door step a couple of weeks back and became an instant favorite.  And so, I would like to share it with you guys, today, in case anyone is looking for the cutest (most empowering/delightful) story to come out of a publishing house in months/years. I laughed out loud. So did Hal. And Fable (she was CRYING laughing when she read it aloud to all of us.) And Archer. And Revi and Bo.

I also cried. Because it's really kind of touching and heartwarming and, well... (spoiler alert) everyone hugs at the end (and in the middle) and I love when people hug.

ED: Author Kate Beaton is the author of Hark, A Vagrant. Her work is incredibly charming and smart and I don't know her but I really want to.
