Archer and Revi have been home from school all week with a mild case of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease which is what I wrote about today over on Mom.me, because it's been sort of an all-consuming thing this week.

I am writing this week's post from the couch, where two of my four children are home with Hand, Foot and Mouth disease, which sounds far worse than it is. Like, just typing that made me want to wave my hands and be like, "But they're fine! They're uncomfortable, but they're fine." As far as viruses go, this one is cake.

Archer and Revi, movie-ing it up, earlier this week. 

Not that it doesn't suck, because it does. The kids have mouth sores, and Archer has had itchy spots on his hands and feet for the last several days, but the worst part of having two kids home with Hand, Foot and Mouth disease is having to say the words Hand, Foot and Mouth disease.

Hand, Foot and Mouth disease is the head lice of ailments in the way that, unless you have it, it sounds like the end of the world.

Which it is not.
