Story Time: Bats at The Beach

This week's book rec is one of my all-time favorites, a gift Fable received for her 4th birthday and one that has quickly become one of our nightly go-tos. It's called Bats at the Beach, it was written and illustrated by: Bryn Lies and it's full of whimsy, wisdom and warmth.

Bats at The Beach is beautifully done across the board. Especially for kids who might be afraid of the dark...

...it provides this really warm, playful place for children to go in their dreams, where moon tanning is a thing and bats fly each other like kites --  the perfect "last story" read before lights out.
